770-227-9125 or scan and email it to Heather.Kostka@scouting.org

Boy Talks & Sign Up Night

When: August & September

Who will schedule Boy Talks and Sign Up Nights?

Your DE is working diligently to schedule your Boy Talks/Sign-Ups and should have finalized dates by your Open House if not sooner. To receive your finalized date, please contact her at Heather.Kostka@Scouting.org.

Who does the Boy Talks?

The Council’s professional staff and our District Round-Up team will complete Boy Talks for you, as many Scouters have full-time jobs and may have difficulties requesting days off. This team will be trained to conduct talks that will be fun and exciting, in addition to having a consistent message centered around Scouting.

Who will conduct the Sign Up Night?

The Council’s professional staff and our District Round-Up team will conduct the Sign Up, giving a general overview of Scouting and fielding questions where necessary. They will also bring necessary materials for the sign up.

What do I need to do for Sign Up Night?

  • Send a representative from your Unit.
  • Bring information about your unit and when your next meeting will be. You can bring a similar sheet as the one you used at Open House night.
  • Sign paperwork for new Scouts!
